Beth McCarthy, M.S. CCC-SLP

Beth earned both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. During graduate school, Beth began seeing clients at the Clinic as part of her practicum and during this time developed a high interest in the Clinic’s mission. Beth started working at the Clinic full time as a speech-language pathologist after graduate school (2004). Beth loves working with young children and their parents to help each child reach his or her communication goals. Beth provides individual therapy to children at the Maryville University location and the St. Louis City location. She also leads the Clinic’s social language group that is held in the summer and also supervises graduate student clinicians. She is Hanen certified in “It Takes Two to Talk” program, as well as, PROMPT trained. A fun fact about Beth is that she loves to decorate. If she wasn’t busy being a speech-language pathologist, she would want to be an interior designer (Joanna Gaines style)!
